Front TRD shock install

So i got some new trd sport yellow bilstein shocks for my grocery-runner, i was told that the shocks and coils might be side specific due to the "tacoma lean". Does anyone know how to tell which shock and coil go on which side?
Ps the shocks and coils are separated from each other so i also need to know which shock goes with which coil.

I honestly think they are... That's why folks need a spacer on the driver side after installing OME lifts. See quote below...

Also, i believe that Yellow factory paint markings are for drivers side. White factory paint markings are for the passenger side.

 

Check the part numbers on the springs here... It has different numbers for passenger and driver.

Correct. You can put the struts on either side, so long as the longer/stiffer coil goes on the driver's side.

Try measuring them... If they are different lengths, longer is driverside.

Are there any part numbers etched into them?

 

im gonna try that. the link you provided also said the different part numbers for the coils so I will check to see if the coils say the part number and measure as well.

 

On mine, the yellow marking went on drivers side.
