I wanted to buy a manual so bad, but I have three kids, so the double-cab took precedence. I daydream about swapping out the automatic transmission for a manual someday.

I may have gone with a DC had manual been an option. But manual was make-or-break for me, so DC was ruled out. I know a 2nd gen owner who wanted a 1st gen, but wanted DC and manual, so he ended up with a 2nd gen. IDK what Toyota was thinking not offering manual w/ DCs in the 1st gen.

My truck pulls to the right something fierce. I don't know if it's the tires (St Maxx) or alignment. I'm sure it's a combo of both.

I can't tell you how many times I've mixed you two up. At a quick glance, your avatars look the same.

I'm assuming I got a defective one. Unplugged it a couple times and reset it and top half of the screen is still screwed up. I bought it locally so hopefully I can just trade it out for another one.

On the bright side, the Paranoid Fab mount worked great!

So last night we brought it over to the welder. Super nice guy and let us come in after hours. He's real excited about the project too. He does all sorts of fab work and has raced in Dirt Riot and King of the Hammers. So it's really awesome having somebody so knowledgeable nearby. I tell ya, really nice to have a heated shop in single digit weather haha. We pulled apart the front end, he welded on my coil bucket gussets, we painted, then put it all back together in three hours. Cool part too is I finally ripped the wrapping off! He told me I wasn't allowed to leave the shop with it still on

So if I wanted to replace the threaded bolts on the cab mount bushings for a larger bolt with washer and lock nut maybe add some red locktite. Would anyone forsee problems ?
