So I recently lifted my truck 2 inches in the front billstein 5100 on the front and 1 inch block in the rear. After lifting it I noticed a weird howling noise coming from the left front. Everything is tight and nothing is out of place any suggestions?

Did you do an alignment after lifting?

Yes I did I might have to check it again. It only did it after I lifted the front I put rear blocks in yesterday and the noise never changed. I have to see where my alignment specs are at. The alignment machine we have here only goes to 2016 and mines a 2017

I cant offer any help here. But I will let you know. This thread will become a poop storm because of the title. Just some friendly advice, add "front end howl after lift".

Good luck figuring it out my friend!

Specs should be the same for 16 and 17, nothing changed on the suspension.

Search for EGCS bushing. Will most likely solve your problem.

Maybe the holes in the A arms? With the front higher may have exposed them more to wind. There is a TSB for that.

I just did a 3” lift and had alignment afterward. I replaced the needle bearing with the bushing while I was in there.i unfortunately have a slight howl in the front end. Any suggestions to troubleshoot this howl?

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
If you're going to align it the 2016 specs should be fine. However, when it comes to caster just add as much positive as you can while still keeping camber at a reasonable reading. Unfortunately I don't have access to a machine anymore but the guy I went to is the go-to alignment place for lifted Tacos around here and he shoots for neutral camber but if he needs to go a little positive on the camber in order to pick up a decent amount of positive caster he will. He feels it's worth the trade off.

As others said sounds like the bushing, I have my ecgs kit sitting in the garage for when I install my 6112s
