Good morning, all of you on the East Coast be safe and remember it isn't your driving you have to worry about, look out for the other ones on the road!

-10 here but no wind, like Rob says that isn't so bad. County and city plow trucks are finally out in force dropping sand after 5 days of solid ice on the roads. Means tomorrow they will drop salt because it is going to warm up. Car washes will open up again when it gets to 10 above and the lines will be out to the main roads. Will have to get in line at some point.

Exactly. Strangely enough in some places it helps with traction. In others it makes it slicker than Owl Shit. Which is where is always a "fun" surprise.

If your a woodcock :p But it is true, I get more done at work before everyone shows up than after they do.

No you don't, or at least your checking account doesn't. When the one went in here about an hour away spent a lot of time there. Now I usually walk out without buying anything. Not sure if it is because have everything I need or they just don't carry what they used to. But it is nice to actually see and try on something before buying. On the other hand seems like I get most of my clothes and few other things from LL Bean. And once in awhile when on major sale even Orvis :anonymous:

Craftsman Tools or rather sockets and wrenches marked =V= / vv were made before 1985 some date back to the 40's the quality of the forgings and tools are much higher. http://alloy-artifacts.org/craftsman-maker-v.html this might help you ID stuff you own or have inherited.

On recruiting duty was headed from Hendersonville, NC to Brevard on a back road that went by the Dupont XRay silver nitrate processing plant out in the middle of no where. Came around a sharp curve and there was a chemical tanker truck on its side with liquid everywhere and sheriff deputies and State police everywhere. I was in the government car and wearing khakis, but had ribbons collar devices, etc. They all came running over and started explaining what happened to me, pointing and waving so I got out of the car and started walking over to the spill. I was a bit confused as to why they telling me all this stuff and it was very hazard material. Finally one of them said your not Federal Hazmat are you? I got the hell out of there ASAP! Not sure why they thought Federal anything would show up on the scene so quickly.

I haven't looked at their stuff in years.
Down here I shop at REI.If a member there's a year warranty on anything including boots. That's what I primarily get there and has dividends.

Yes and no. I have a lot of old tools but most of relatives stuff got pilfered after a passing.
I have only a few tools of both grandfather's but sadly nobody to pass it on to that would know what to do with them.
