South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

I'd be lying if I said I didn't consider them for myself just because of the great price...but why? I don't scratch shit at the mall...so fuck it. Plus, I want to put a new head unit in before anything...

 

This is one of my short term goals, as well. Gotta crank up those tunes, and the stock system just doesn't cut it when it's loud.

Got it. my lower valence has taken a beating. I had to bend the metal brackets back into place. Visable scuff along the bottom of the valence. This is one of the reasons I adjusted my shocks for a higher lift.

Might get some sort of hidden winch thing later- that would keep the bumper- but loose the valance. Not ready for a plate bumper either.

Just need to take care of the valence for now. May be I will just tape it off and plasti dip it in place.

 

At least you've got bluetooth...my 2011 has that shitty analog radio not that fancy touchscreen stuff you newer taco owners have. I'm considering one with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

 

The bluetooth in the tacoma is the best i've had in any previous vehicle.

 

if you go android, post up a decent review for it. im looking into the same stuff. I hate using aftermarket BT plugged into the headphone jack. I cant seem to find one that plays exceptionally well with android phones. they all say android compatible but that just means that you can do basic Bluetooth and that's about it. then the ones ive found that are designated android units, they seem to be crappy as far as user interface goes. unless you want to drop $800+ bucks on it.

I use all Apple but if I can get one that has both, I will. That way if a passenger wants to plug in with an Android, they can.
