Other than a couple body tweaks, what's different? Why is it even referred to as a 3rd gen with such a minor tweak. Gotta be something else that's changed. Engine, transmission, something.

As for flaming you, sure, the grill is fugly. For that reason alone my 2nd gen is King.

Nice. But consider a redundant stick system in case things get ugly.

Not a title I would bestow on them. Refurbished stock lowers. I know what they are not. Thought you were something of a fan of the dude that called his that.

New Motor has more power/better fuel economy. New auto trans has had some some issues but will be worked out. And as for the body I think the little tweaks look good

My truck juts hit 100k can't justify buying a $40k new rig and then tearing it apart. Would be fun though :D

I suppose it is somewhat inevitable that we will someday see a bobbed, caged SAS 3rd gen on 40-inch beadlocks. If they can just figure out the parking sensor thingy.

I'll be honest, probably the only reason I do not have an aftermarket rear bumper yet us because none of them incorporate the BSM sensors. I've never had a vehicle with them before but they're convient as all hell now that I've got them.

    • skip the CB.
    • Ham radio test is super easy.
    • Mobile units are a little more expensive, but you can get a handheld in addition to extend your range when you're away from your vehicle.
    • talk on repeaters to extend your range where available
    • with a little more money, you can do gps tracking
    • smaller antennas for the trail

You talking smaller antennas for the HAM or the trucks antennas? Turd gens only have the shark fin on the cab for their antennas.
