No different than the badges or wheels or grill or anything else. Mask off area you don't want to derp with paper/painter's tape. Spray multiple light coats, as many as you need, don't try to coat it all at once or it will run, the more coats the more durable, give it enough time to dry between coats and let it bake for a few days at least in the sun before blasting it with a washer, etc. Plenty of videos on youtube.

Did my badges, and chrome on grille, but removing tape on such a large area without pulling the dip off may be a problem for me. Will post pics later.

Shouldn't be any different, trust my man. Its a recessed area, just tape off that line and spray away, I would only tape along the tailgate line, then tape paper all around the bumper, upper tailgate, lights etc. to avoid overspray, should still peel clean like your badges, etc.

Can you take it through a car wash without it being scuffed?

For about 50$ you can have it vinyl wrapped like I did and it'll be more durable

I can't stand the factory head unit, have you installed it? Does it handle all the little details such as Fuel Economy and things like that.

I thought about doing this. I think it looks good. I ultimately just went with the matte black letter inserts. I think it would look cool if you had the letters cut out of the black. So the body color showed just at the letters. Anybody done/seen that? I'd like to see how it looks.

I work at a place called Talon LPE, an Environmental Consultant company as an Environmental Scientist, my office is near Fort Fun, although I am typically driving around Eastern Co. I also love Redfeather, I just moved up there from Denver. Did that commute for too long.

That looks great @honey . I'm going to Photoshop one of these infernos to see what it would look like with the backplate grey as well.
