That reminds me, I have to buy this thing that attaches my GPS to the heating vents. Since I bought this GPS and all the stories of people breaking windows if they see the remnants of the suction cup on the windshield, that I have it held with a magnet to my cupholder, so yeah not the best way to keep your eyes on the road.

I've got RAM mount attached to a panavise mount for my phone, which doubles as my GPS. Pretty much perfect IMO

Right, doesn't make sense to me when even bush men in central Africa have cell phones.

I know this sounds a bit odd, I must be the last of the mohegans to only have a landline and no cell phone. :anonymous: :crapstorm:

You should be proud to have no cell phone. I'd be in heaven if I could not have a cell phone (at least between 6am and 3:30 pm during the week).

Google will only precache so much, and it can't recalulate routes or find routes to new places without service

Edit: I also bring a Delorme Atlas for good measure. We have them for most states at the office as I just grab the WV/TN/VA ones when I hear down there

My parents have just a landline, and no cell phones. Drives me nuts if I need to call them when they're not at home, but there you go.

Shrug. We live in Maine; it's not that uncommon around here.
