Got my Softopper installed last night (it's seriously not as easy as they make it sound). Bonus pics of Memphis in the snow.

They do make nice pieces. Get the longest one you can stomach. I went with 15". I used to get a random HD signal. I haven't seen that since I replaced the OEM on though.

Nice seat pattern. I have the exact same thing- but Wet Okole allowed me to "special" order grey instead of black, which I like.

Isn't 35K just an oil change and tire rotation?

You may have to have some spare factory stuff that gets to see the light of day once per year lol. That all sounds pretty strict!

I'm originally from PA, and that's what we often had to do when I was younger. It was not unusual to have to remove off road lights, borrow skinny tires, and remove then re-tint windows every year. My buddy used to have to remove the entire exhaust system on his Mustang and reinstall the factory system, and then switch it back again. I've been in Ohio for almost 22 years now, and they don't care about ANYTHING. As my wife and I start planning where we're going to retire, this is no minor issue. If I have to un-mod my entire truck it will be an expensive pain in the ass. My 1968 Firebird would never make it even with many of the antique car exemptions - too modified. I would like to move home and be near family and friends, but the states with overly restrictive DOT laws typically are that way with everything else, and I'm too used to living relatively unmolested.

Ah yep. I'm a dumbass. Sometimes I forget people take their trucks in for oil changes.

It's sad how dealerships can mess up a simple oil change.

I got a few extra arms to play around with but I used the shorter one to start. It's out of the way but still in sight. Very sturdy as well.

What's the end cost for all the pieces needed? And do you have the part #s? I'm digging that set up
