    You will always hear some people that complain about the power loss when going to 285s, especially Load E like the KO2s (in a 285). You will notice a mild difference, nothing severe, and nothing worth downsizing to 265s for (IMO). There are some 285s out there that aren't Load E range and would be lighter, but I still get well over 300 on a full tank with my 285s and have no complaints about the power loss. Makes sense though because the 3rd gens are much different in that aspect, I still have not even sat in one :D

    i drove a trd 3rd gen last week and it was an animal. I can't see how anyone could complain about lack of power. Stupid fast for a pickup truck. And that's coming from someone that's had over 30 mustangs and numerous other fast cars. It's got almost 300hp.

    i totally agree, mine throws my head back 90% of the time. but every once in a while i'll step half way down on the gas (while going like 20 on a flat) and it doesnt go annywhere. i'll have to take my foot off the pedal and try again a couple times and then its back in gear. the engines awesome, transmision seems to almost "glitch" its odd. and i'm in colorado right now. going to be moving here by next year and it feels like i'm freaking towing every time i'm on the freeway going up hill, its a real pain she just doesnt want to maintain even 60mph while in a 65. you gotta constantly floor it. just my experince i havn't really had any other issues, sorry for jacking this thread lol.

    @ensaladas :wave: Hey neighbor!

    Quick question- did you paint or plasti-dip you grill? What about you lower valence? What exact color? Looks good, considering doing the same.

    Yooo!! I actually ordered the replacement OEM white grill surround. My rear bumper is white plasti dip. Was shocked how well it matched. Lower valance is the factory plastic

    Cool. Rear bumper looks great!
    My valence has several scuffs in the bottom side, mostly from Dicky Bell at URE. May plasti- dip, maybe lightly sand then paint the valence. Thanks!
    :thumbsup:
