Are you still running 2" spacers in the rear? What kind of lug nuts you use? Mine bottomed out on the spacer studs so now I need open end nuts or cut the studs

Flushed my power steering thanks to @AR15xAR10's little writeup.. expected more fluid than this though.

I was surprised to find that the owners manual says Dexer type II or III auto transmission fluid as power steering fluid... I put in Royal Purple synthetic anyway

Its a bit dark but I could see the fluid line. Used a syringe and a straw on the end to suck it all out.

thats what i did, then poured in new ATF. turned it on and turned the wheels back and forth and did it again. I did it until it was more pink than black. I just did it until 2 quarts were gone.

I put Dextrol III Mobil one in mine, royal purple is probably the next level up. From what I understand you do not want to put dedicated power steering fluid in. Strictly stick to ATF fluids for anyone wanting to do this. BTW, after you get acquainted, it takes about 5 min to do.

Why do you say not to put dedicated power steering fluid in?

    Amen

Nope SR5 unfortunately, I want the TRD interior! At 147,4xx currently, bought it 3 years ago with 98,xxx miles.

Why not? Only thing i've heard that has gone bad on a TRD OR was an actuator for the locker.. but that was only one person.
