Haha this guy has no idea what he's talking about. Half of the tires he calls KO2's aren't. For example the first tire he calls a KO2's are the KM2's.

KO2s are a great tire when used for the purposes in which it excels - daily driving, light-moderate off road, light-moderate snow, no intentional mud. They also happen to look aggressive, which attracts the mall-crawler bros. Most people judge the tire based on the latter group's use of it. I really like my KO2s because they work great for my use. For other uses (and even same uses in other geographical locations with different road conditions and different types of snow) there are likely better choices. That's the great thing about having options - you get to pick what you need and want.

There's entirely too much worry about finding "the best" tires on this forum, especially since "best" is so incredibly subjective.

Yup. I have the KO2s as well, since my driving is about 75% on road, and the rest mixed gravel and some light off-road use like collecting hay from fields and getting firewood. Didn't need or really want anything more aggressive then them for my use. Yes, I looked around at other tires, but the BFGs seemed to be the best compromise that fitted my needs the closest.

Bro, the mall businesses aren't going to like you going over their rock features in the parking lot.

    :rofl:LMAO!

To be honest, I dont think its been to a mall.

I usually commute by air, so my 25k miles are from trips and off road. :)

I ran BFG a/t in the 90's on my "Toyota P/U"- before thw Tacoma brand.

Great tire then, great tire now. Bro or no bro.

Duratracs perform better but agree the KO2 looks better. However I'm all about function vs Fashion.

C'mon brah, why you gotta be like that? We can all clearly see the Starbucks reflection in your truck's photo. It's all good, who doesn't like a hot bropucchino after a hard day of posing? :D

I wanted E rated. And I am brand loyal. My other cars are all Michelin, which owns BFG. Their N. American HQ is here in SC.

I have nothing bad to say about any other tire.

Excellent starting point. Best paired with a Rough Country lift, four or five forward-facing sets of LED lights, murdered-out tails, and chrome, baby, chrome!
