Yeah the voice navigation is annoying. How you have to drill down into a setup menu to disable it is annoying. Sometimes I want it, sometimes I don't. A mute button on the main screen would make a lot of sense.

It turns mine on if I want it.

I disabled mine. Idk how. Just play with your settings.

You talking about the speaker icon?

That doesn't adjust the volume or mute it.

    It repeats the current direction.

Having it mute the volume would make too much sense lol

Mine never does voice guided direction. I turned it off.

But if I press that, it'll give me voice direction.

Anyone know if we can change the icon on the display?

With the Garmin you get the choice of a car or truck instead of the triangle the truck has... I know you could also download and install more like a tie fighter/x wing or other shit, or change the voice to darth Vader n shit

With my previous Toyota Sienna, there was an option in the Navi to mute or lower the volume of the radio when voice guidance was speaking, but I don't see that option on this unit (it just tries to talk over the radio). Has anyone seen this this option in any of the setups? I have searched high and low and can't seem to find a way.
