Cupcake went food shopping tonight..smart move haha. Came home in a mood and a half. Fortunately her friend called her to go out, so I did the dropoff..house to myself, ahhh

 

1. I thought you would be the last one to take me serious after our last meeting new years eve here and you even gave me a like?? I guess I need to be a little more explicit when using humor here in the future.

   Unless you were within stone's throw distance, you wouldn't have had a chance at it. That dish didn't last 10 minutes. What you couldn't see from the picture was it was a very nice medium inside. Cast iron skillet FTMFW!

I miss so much TW being out here on the westcoast and not having access to a computer until I get back to the hotel...

On a lighter note everyone I work with here is a Tacoma/FJ owner and its awesome. I'm very tempted to not come back haha

 

This may be just me, but I'm finding my life seems to be portional to how much I'm unplugged and being off-line with real people seems to work best for me, so this may be a blessing in disguise.

 

I don't mind being unplugged when I'm off roading but I'm also in the process of buying a bunch of stuff for the truck for the spring so I need to be in on these sale postssss...

 

That's a different story, I think TW was started for that reason. I think my last posting was about remembering when people used to interact more often face to face. My age is showing....lol

 

I was just talking about this the other day regarding taking my 13 yr old nephew to see Rogue One. So many kids his age couldn't stop using their phone for 5 minutes all through the movie.

Lucky bastards. We're only supposed to get a dusting out of this storm, 2-4 inches.
Some of you guys are getting king dong snow; we're stuck with Asian male snow.

 

So yesterday I came home from work and noticed the 1in of snow we got throughout the day as flurries had been shoveled from my driveway. Come to find out it was my 84 yr old neighbor I saw him a few minutes later and asked him, what do you know about this? He looks at me and said, I needed a workout, lol!
I always clear his driveway during storms so he was doing me a favor as some payback as far as I can see. What great guy! I'm sure he'll be out there with me today later this afternoon.

 

NOAA is reporting 8-12 inches of snow here now

 

I hate getting snow on work days.

 

Only due for 1-3 here, which is good in a way. I'm housesitting this weekend and the driveway is unbelievably steep. I'd be concerned about making it up to the house in much more snow than that. 4WD, Snow tires, and all.

 

Meh 12-14inches coming down here this weekend and they don't salt.
Gotta love fresh powder for Mt Hood.

 

Guess we're getting snow today, stores will be closed for weeks after this storm


Lines are 10-12 people deep, never seen it like this, stupid. All I want is a few things for my brother in law's birthday dinner tonight.
