    Thankfully not, our house is situated on some high ground. A couple more feet and it would have prolly made its way up the small hill we're on. I didnt take any chances tho. I went to work the day it began getting bad in Gonzales/St. Amant, not realizing all that water up in Denham Springs was headed our way. When I came home that evening everything was pretty chaotic. I told the wife we need to go ahead and get everything we wanted and haul ass to some family in central Louisiana. My grandpa on her side of family wasnt so lucky. He got 6 foot of water and had no time at all to get what he wanted. :/
