    NO

Except yes. Only for cement. Otherwise no. Unless that's what you're into, then yes. Obviously if that's not your thing then no is your answer.

Only you can answer that. Are the differences that make it a pro worth it to you? Are you planning to modify it like change the suspension, etc.? Several who have bought one, drive it and love it just the way it is. I would have bought one if it was offered in an access cab model, but it's a double cab short bed only, so nope.

    Not simple.

For me? Nope, it wasn't worth the extra money and the loss of JBL, sunroof, and inability to order the factory tonneau with it.

For others? Sure, many here love theirs.

Only you can decide what's best for you.

To add to that..You can get a better trck with a TRD OR premium tech package. The suspension mods are meh. The rest is badging.

The pro has leather seats but you can get nice aftermarket covers or even have them reupholstered for less than the pro premium price tag.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago and I was already leaning towards the PRO. Basically, if you want a really nice truck that is stock, the PRO has some good stuff to offer: upgraded suspension, upgraded exhaust, exclusive black leather interior, exclusive black grill, exclusive trd skid plate, exclusive trd pro wheels, 1 exclusive color (cement). Can you buy aftermarket parts that are equal to or better than this package? Of course. But I feel like doing so would cost at least as much as what the PRO costs.

Plus I don't really want to mess with having a bunch of aftermarket parts being installed. I also feel like the PRO might hold it's value even more so than the stellar tacoma resale we all know about. They are only supposedly making 3000 or so of them. The previous PRO only saw 1500 made and those are rare and very expensive on the used truck market.

Where are you seeing that? I just double-checked on http://southeast.buyatoyota.com/tacoma and I'm seeing 43,770 Pro AT vs 40,415 Limited 4x4 AT with Tow.

I was back and forth on it too. But i just pulled the trigger on the 2017 off-road 4x4 doublecab. The OR was more than sufficient for my needs. Good luck with whatever you end up with.

I did see a new 17 Raptor and it was in that same similar cement color. All I can say is I was very impressed with the looks of it to say the least. Im not a ford guy but that 17 raptor especially in that color id love one. It was so sharp looking. It was crew cab and guy ordered it and it was loaded. Love the full roof moon roof. he didn't have all the cameras and everything but it was loaded. It was $68140. No discounts at all he paid sticker when he ordered it.

I hear you. All these guys say for the price of TRD pro get a Raptor. Well $44k Pro or Raptor (less loaded than above truck) still going to be about $56k

Folks here will tell you that you can add everything the Pro has to an Off Road for less money and not to waste your money, then when you do it they'll call you a poser.

Bottom line is its worth it if you can afford it. Buy or upgrade what you want if it makes you happy and care less about other people opinions.

It may be worth it if it is what the person wants.

I could easily afford the Pro, but it wasn't what I wanted.

I may have bought a Pro if they were available when I bought my '16. I knew they were coming but I just couldn't get rid of my '14 fast enough. I hated it.
I'm happy with my decision and working on my poser. :drunk:
