I wasn´t aware it ever stopped.

 

It usually ends in a puddle of drool.

 

That´s just a minor setback. I like to call that a break.

 

Have to ask you Smitty, cause this is on one of my bucket list. Did you find Bora Bora worth it? Did you find it a place worth visiting, or was it just another beach and palm trees, which we can get elsewhere for less money? I've wanted to go there for a while, but it would need to be really special to go from where I am.

 

Beer:30 and Supercross starts in 15 minutes...

Anyway yes we found it worth it. I've been to various places in the Caribbean and Hawaii. Bora bora stands on its own as far as beauty compared to those. Picture the beach screen savers and when you get there it looks like that. It looks man made. Now if you want more activities I might suggest island hopping in French Polynesia. Moorea for a few days then Bora Bora maybe. But we are beach lounge people and we don't need zip lines and jungle excursions to be entertained.

We did several activities including diving, snorkeling, shark feeding, a little jeep tour up the side of a mountain for sunset, 2 hours jet ski around the entire island. We had a blast and total cost including everything we spent just about 15k.

 

we stayed in the beach bungalow a few nights then stayed in an overwater bungalow for 4 nights. We actually preferred the beach bungalow just because we liked being right on the sand and it's a long walk on the boardwalk to get to the shore or to the resort facilities.
