...and the new poll. Home and kitchen renovation does take a little planning.

I have had many sets of the plastic ones, the ones I most preferred though are leather custom made still have them and they are the most comfortable.

I haven't had the leather ones. I like these because they've lasted me this long. But the soft insoles contributed alot to my problem so I don't know if they'd work for me all that well.

They are hard leather but shaped exactly to your feet. You have to stand in these dry foam blocks they cast your foot and then build the leather to them.

I'll see if the doc will hook me up. One problem with having a small base facility is they farm alot of the stuff out so, if he sends me out in town I'll end up with a co-pay.

Hey Marine any bets on what they say about the vet in FL I will put money on the VA said he is fine not a problem with him. Think the VA will renew their efforts to suppress vets second amendment rights ? It is not a political question about second amendment just an opinion on how the VA will spin this in their favor if they are involved.

Those soft soled "dress" shoes that are nothing but sneakers and pretend to be shoes cause nothing but problems in the end. I have learned the hard way. Insoles and soles that provide support are what help, not soft spongy feel good bottoms with no support. This weekend I will post pics of my insoles they are molded and sent to Ca. to be built at a very reasonable price. With the new year starting for deductions and Flexible Spending plan I will have 2 new pair built in the next month.

Leather soles have been around a long time for a reason. And well built shoes and boots can be rebuilt to last forever. The Cabelas boots I just purchased I consider disposable. They can't be rebuilt and will end up in the shit can in the next few years. But for salt and snow are fine.

Did I mention that I am a boot whore?
General purpose boots which are semi dress, and all made in America.

Allen Edmonds in Wi. is one of my favorites to deal with. They used to offer a huge discount to the military with custom ordering and fitting. This is one of the first pair of Walnut shell ever made.

The Allen Edmonds Bayfield captoe boot reminds of a dress version of the military boot many of us wore.

Shell is horses ass, not calf leather. It last forever and will out last me. Shell can be addicting, the care, smell, everything about it.

Royal flush, all 5 colors of shell offered by Allen Edmonds at the time. Many there still know me from this order. It is the only collection of its kind in the world known to them.

Did I mention I am a boot whore? Don't forget the LL Bean Cresta hiker which is a close replacement for the Vasque Sundowner which I wore for years. Then Red Wing who owns Vasque switched production to China and they went downhill. The Cresta is about the best replacement I have found.

That is an axe cut in the toe of the boot. Damn fine boot but slicker than Owl Shit on anything wet or ice.

Custom made Russel Moccasin Grand Slam Sheep Hunters take care of that, walking through bogs and most of my bird hunting though.

And I have lots more :anonymous:
