Has anybody ran these goodyears??? They look pretty dang aggressive I guess for a A/T tire. They run about $160 a piece for the 265's.

I know everybody has a hard on for the KM2's but the price is kinda crazy.

So tell me what ya'll think about these tires.

Oh, On edit: I will be doing quite a bit of off roading. Im gonna try and stay out of the mud, BUt i'll be doing light rock crawling, Sand, Water, And suspension twisting trails.

They're a very aggressive tread...my concern is that since they're a wal-mart only tire, what corners did they cut to get down to that price?

For those that don't know, they're the Goodyear Wrangler Authority....wal-mart only.

Interesting now you said that...But they are still a good year tire. And goodyear is a respectable brand.

I saw these myself about a month ago... the spec sheet was not available at that time, but they are a damn good looking "meaty" tire.

I've had my eye on them for awhile... I'm curious to see feedback from someone who owns them.

Yep. I saw those and wanted them but no sizes bigger than 265/75/16. Really wish they would have some bigger.

They looked pretty aggressive, but I just paid $159.99 each for my 265/75/16 C Duratracs...

I've had them 3 days, and they are exceeding my expectations... They are phenominal here in the CO mountains... packed snow/ice on the roads... 12" of fresh snow last night on my driveway... I'm extremely pleased with the performance so far...

Doesn't matter. I used to know a few guys that worked for various manufacturers that supplied wal-mart "exclusive" models - one of these guys was with Sony.

They all brought back the same story: If it's Wal-Mart only, concessions have been made somewhere to get the price down so wally can undercut their competition. The manufacturers capitulate to this because of WM's massive market exposure. They more than make up what they lose in other chains sales by having something prominently displayed on Wal-Mart shelves.

This only concerns me if they're an unsafe tire, which I doubt. The pertinent question to me as a consumer is: These things cost about half of Toyo MTs. Will the Toyos wear twice as long, or are two sets of Authorities (plus associated mounting/alignment/etc costs) a better buy?

FWIW, I'm still leaning toward the Toyos.
