    My frame isn't that bad.

But please don't test it. :(

lmao if you jumped my truck, I'm not sure the frame would be the first thing on my mind. If I go fast over one of those roads where there's a big bump in the road, I can damn near bottom out. My suspension is seriously not welcoming to jumps.

Hopefully it's actually something I can have a little fun in. Getting a bit tired of these weak dustings. Not only is that useless for snow donuts, but brine and rock salt get laid because apparently people are incapable of driving with ANY snow at all. If I am gonna have my truck get assaulted with that shit, at least let it come with some fun.

Tell her it's because she's getting old and doesn't exercise enough, then you get to have two arguments .

Found out that when there are small snow flakes or rain drops my orefilter likes to suck them up.... been driving for a half hour and I will soon have to stop and empty it

Theoretically at high speeds that can create a negative pressure at the snorkel inlet and robbthe engine of air. I believe it is Airflow that specifically warns against doing this.

Also you'd have to drive thousands of miles for the precleaner to "fill". I've had mine for over 6 months in all kinds of precipitation and the most I've had was 1/4" maybe 1/2" of liquid in it. And even if it did fill it's designed to collect shit so it's not surprising that it's collecting shit

I didn't go all scientific but I I did do small testing using my ultraguage and the readings at the mass airflow sensor. Forward skewp, backward skewp, and pre cleaner were all within a few tenths of each other. Not exact numbers though because the reading is never a steady number it's constantly fluctuation.

You said you replace whatever you break with stronger parts. So you're welcome to break anything you want. I've always wanted a new frame

Nice test, bit the data is not really definitive. And some many erroneous statements in the rest of the posts....wow.

A very simple way to determine if the backwards facing snorkel causes issues is to monitor O2 sensor readings at WOT at normal highway road speeds. Which I will do once I get my damn snorkel. Regardless I will probably run a pre-filter in winter.

I've had similar problem on plouw trucks that have air intake on passenger side clogging with ice and snow.Installed a piece of window screen across the intake.Works to a point, but you are not snow plowing so maybe it will work for you :notsure:
