Added some leather!

My taco didn't come with leather so I had a local shop install and I'm pretty happy with it! Paid $1050 +tax so not super overpriced and really good quality.

They told me that in about 2 weeks the leather should stretch nicely leaving no bumps or imperfections.

It was a local shop in orlando,fl the brand I believe is RoadWire and the site I went to pick the styles is classicsoftrim.com they gave me a bunch of options to choose so u tried to stay as close to stock and not tacky as possible and also to match the interiors... the interiors came like that Brad so I'm not sure if someone changed it before me? I got the truck with 3k miles... so basically new...
But I'm really happy... they told me usually it's a bit more but because I came referred by the dealer they would honor dealer rates.

Yes, a good local auto upholstery shop can work some serious magic... often for less than you might think.

Plus there's a lot to be said for a place you can go visit if you have an issue a few months down the road.

Looks great. I can't do leather anymore. It's just not comfortable to me. Cold when it's cold out and hot and sticky when it's hot out. I end up putting covers over the leather.

 

I like leather over cloth because my butt slides right into the seat!

 

I think leather smells good, easier to clean and doesn't stain like cloth (as long as it isn't light colored.leather)...Probably lasts longer.

 

That looks great. I'm also in Orlando, do you mind telling me what shop did the work? How long did it take them to complete?

 

Hey man! Nice to meet you.... I owe you the name of the shop I just dealt with the owner... the dealer gave me his contact and he was able to give me a slightly better price than what the dealer through him would've charged... he worked with me to pick the colors and patterns and then once all was ordered they installed everything in one day. From ordering to install depending on your schedule it's like a 4 day process... if you want i can message you the guys phone and name.. I'll look at my receipt/warranty paperwork to find out the name of the place... they are in the longwood area...
