That's pretty much my observation as well. Though I have a Dakar pack with their aal. More weight smoothed out the rear. I've got the icon c/o with cdc in front and just the 2.0s in rear.

I run my stt maxx 285s e rated at 38psi cold. Still find the tires and suspension a shit ton better tha stock.

I had OME with Dakar leaf pack, and running empty, it was a hard ride. I also had 31" C rated tires I ran about 35-40 psi. As soon as I had a couple hundred pounds in the bed, the ride smoothed out.

Also consider concrete bags for weight. 80# for about $5 vs sand at 50# for $10.

I agree with Alex and share the frustration only because its happened so many times on this thread. If you want smooth down the road, then you gotta leave it stock.

For comparison i have 700lb icon co's, dakar's with an aal and icon shocks in the back on 33" E rated bfg's. Even with front and rear plate bumpers, canopy, RTT, full steel skids, couple action packers of tools in the back, my truck still rides rough down the road at low speeds. But ill tell you what, when its full loaded for a multiday trip, its a lot smoother, and still holds its ground clearance, no matter what i throw in the back my ass doesn't sag. Plus taking the sway bar off, having the stiff suspension makes it handle really nice.

Maybe I'm just used to all the lowered cars I've owned in the past, but I don't think my truck rides stiff at all.

I have Icon extended travels with 650lb springs set at a little under 3" of lift, no sway bar, AAL in the rear, and the only extra weight I carry is my canopy and some recovery gear. I run tires at around 33psi.

    Shit on a black truck.
It does seem mainly like the ass end so I'll throw some sand bags in. The front bumper should be here in 3-4 weeks and the rear will add 80# when I get that going.

The canopy and the recovery gear will be more than enough to get those rear springs into their "comfort zone" if you will. Add that to your tires at just 33psi and I am sure you have a lot nicer ride. I know your tires come in a rating lesser than E... Did you get those, or the E? Again, that would have a tremendous impact on comfort.

Yeah man get some weight on there, lets some air out of the tires, and it'll get better.

Lowes has bags of "Tube Sand" (I am sure others do too, I just have experience with the stuff at Lowes) for a couple bucks that are ~60lbs if I remember correctly. I used them in the back of my pickup for over a year (parked outside) and never had a bag split on me.

Technically, Spokane doesn't start until west of Freya exit (#283) and ends at 280a for Lincoln St. East of there is Spokane Valley, a separate city, and west of there is Airway heights.

Well, in that case, my arm-switching is warranted as I apparently waved at you through THREE vaguely-distinct cities. You're welcome?

More importantly, you never called me for wheeling, alcohol consumption, or discharge of firearms. I don't feel the love from you...

It would be fun to set up a ride with 1 truck with BP, 1 with King, 1 with Icon, and do a taste test! Somewhere there was a paved road near some bumpy dirt or? Anyone know anything close to the center of our TW population?

My truck has had king front Co's and is now on bp51s. I have done slow speed snow wheeling but nothing in the 50mph range yet... But on the street and in the snow the bp51s feels pretty damn close to Kings, even feels more planted. I am withholding a full review until I can do some higher speed stuff.
