Austin Area TW Chapter (all gens welcome, even T4Rs; heck, just make it a Toyota and we're good)

Did you try to reserve a spot at the state park or the national park? I have never been but I know the two parks are different, and provide different features. At least one of the parks allows you to back country camp as well, so you dont need a "campground spot". I would be interested in going, if I can make it work. Let me know what your plans are and Ill see if I can get away.

The campsite is part of the National park, and the only site I could find that was available.
I read about the back country camping but you are supposed to get a backcountry use permit which are on a first come basis and didn't want to take a chance of not being able to get one.
Our planes for the weekend is to spend most of our time exploring the "Primitive Dirt Roads" and taking photos when we find stuff we like.
Exact routs are not nailed down, this will be our first trip also, so I'll be researching and taking suggestions on routs and destinations.

@ChadsPride - I'm not making C&C. We had some homes here with busted sprinklers, and my next-door neighbor's sump pump broke. He's totally without water. I am apparently the only one who insulated everything, drained his hoses and lines, and generally winterized everything. Anyway, I am "support central" right now.

17" or larger, 16's won't fit.

 

I've got some 17" TRD Sport wheels if you need em

17" wheel with 4.5 backspace is required. You could run a 16" wheel but you would need like a 2inch wheel spacer
