So I recently picked up some brand new OEM Pro headlights and have what may be a stupid question. Are these aligned right out of the box or should would I need to align them after install?

Doubtful, i always mark the hotspot of my current lights on a wall, as well as where my front tires are (gotta have the same distance to realign Hotspot).

Install, then i align truck to my tire marks and adjust the hotspot. This has worked well for me 2or3 times on truck, and 1 time on the gf car. I mark the entire width of the hotspot to "help" with horizontal adjuztment too. It all has worked fine for me, no issues on the road, no flashing, no blind spots.

Your mileage may vary, and some shops offer aiming, as well as the dealership.

I did the same swap. I had to realign. Every truck is different.

Think of it this way..... these lights cant be aimed for a base model truck and a prerunner/4x4 height at the same time.... let alone the difference from an x runner, to your truck with 5100s.

I doubt any place aims things on a jig but i could be wrong.... even if they did tho, theres a huge height difference from an xrunner to a stock pre or 4x4.
