Yeah more than likely. I bought my truck from the same dealer. Asked for lift install price, they said they only do the ProComp spacer lifts. for ~ $1000

I didn't buy the truck from Family Toyota. It's near my parents place so I stopped there to take the photo. I bought it in Richardson. Small world though. I think the previous owner installed the level kit actually (the truck had 9k miles). The dealer made no mention of it. I didn't even notice until I left because the truck was parked in the showroom so I never saw it next to another Tacoma.

IMG_6675.jpg IMG_6676.jpg Just slapped on some Dick Cepek in 285/75r16 this week. 3/2 level kit. No rubbing on cab, just a bit on airdam in reverse. Getting Alignment at dealer today and I'll probably have to trim air damn a bit.

@trd-joe, you will most likely need the ECGS bushing install to remedy your front diff vibes. I have a similar lift and diff drop, on my 06 and the bushing install fixed my front end vibes. Multiple threads on this if you need more info. Truck looks good.

So far so good. Only have about 30miles on them and it was pouring earlier; handled great.

need to learn more about this stuff
newbie to the world of trucks and lifting them, etc. all the lingo you guys are using makes me feel like i am reading a foreign language. I have on order a TRD Sport 4x4, crew cab, longbed. I'm not looking to put more money into wheels and tires, but i do want it lifted a bit. Like most in this thread, i believe the truck looks 1000x better with a bit more clearance between the tires and wheel-wells. i don't want to get hosed when i go into a place as a newbie kook, not knowing anything. what do i need to do and buy to get a small lift?

Does anyone know the smallest wheel spacer that I'll need to clear an Icon tubular UCA with 285/75/16 tires on OEM wheels? I'd prefer to keep the spacer as small as possible the chances of rubbing the cab mount.

If I decide to lift mine, this is the route I would go in.

If you just want it for mostly looks and don't need a lot of performance out of your lift. I would look at just doing a simple leveling kit. Cheaper on the wallet too.

I finally found what my 16" TRDOR DCLB could look like with the 2nd gen 5100, 887, and AAL. Ive been looking for awhile for pics of this setup. Im actually considering 888 but from the looks of this truck I might be better off with 887 coils. Not wanting any bro lean. In reality there is not much more height between the two coils. Thanks Caddis for posting this!

Was planning going that route. But then someone messaged me about the damage that does in long run. So looking to save some money and go suspension route and do it right.
