BAMF 3rd Gen Recessed Raptor Style Grille

@JLee my grille only came with 2 rubber grommets. I was under the impression there would be a grommet for each screw. How can I get some more

 

There should be one for each screw... I got two extras in my package. That sucks.

 

There should be at least 12 in the bolt pack. Was it torn? Also some of the stainless ECO grilles didn't get grommets as we were running out and they take 3 weeks to more get in. So if it's stainless that might be why you didn't get them .

 

No i just checked the packaging it was not torn until I cut open. I received 7 short bolts. 4 long bolts. 11 washers and 11 nylon nuts and 2 rubber grommets. Are these something I can pick up at a local tattoo supply?

Oh then there must of been a mix up with the bolt packs. Or I just flat out missed that one.

I'm pretty sure we have at least 10 left at the shop shoot me an email with your order information and I'll send them out next week when I return from vacation.

Oh yeah if you have a tattoo supply store or even a tattoo shop you should be able to pick them up for next to nothing.

 

Ok cool. Are they pretty much universal or are these a specific size?

 

They are all the same size but they have different shapes depending on who the manufacturer is so I would get all 11 if you can so they are all the same.

 

Can anyone tell me the status of the rubber washers or whatever material was going to be used to prevent rust at the point of contact between the hardware and the grill. I apologize if this has already been discussed. @JLee

So yeah I just went out to a local tattoo supply and got a pack of 20 for $2. Now can you tell me which holes the long screws go into. Someone earlier posted a picture saying it was the 4 corner holes. Is that accurate?

 

Yes top and bottom once the grille is in place you will see as the small screws won't even come close to poking through the back side.

 

You can buy them at any tattoo supply or mail me a self addressed pre stamped envelope and I can send you some. Just note you will have to touch up the coating that was scratched or it will still rust after you install the grommets.

Looks pretty sweet. I might wrap mine in some variation of camo like in the original post.

 

Sorry to disrupt this thread and the mods can delete this but, good business practice would be to say " they'll be in the mail Monday" .
I know you mentioned vacation but there has to be someone at the shop that could do this.

 

^ I got the same response man. I know it takes time out of their day.. but a $.10stamp with a few rubber o rings when you are spending $500+.
Don't get me wrong,,, love the grill. I was one of the first batch so these grommets weren't even a thing.
