    Is there a difference between a 2016 4x4 tacoma skid plate and a2x4 Tacoma 2016 can i fit a off road skit plate to a 4x2 spot

    from what I understand the front for all trims is fine, but when you get into transfer case and trans skids its different (based off aftermarket guides)

    On that note why are you looking at factory OR one for a sport?
    unless you're getting it for free, if buying from a dealer might be cheaper to go aftermarket.
    Hell then you can at least get an oil filter door with it.

    I'm getting a full Mobtown skid set I think the group buy on here is still on too.

    Hey thanks for the reply,
    I purchased a rci front skid plate because you can do an oil change without having to remove it and it will also protect the oil pan, i don't do off road but it will be an extra piece of protection if i have to

    There are aluminum versions for the non off-roading guys.....saves on weight.
