Thanks for the link, I just ordered the filter. I have been thinking that this needed to be serviced. This fix is even better.

I'd opt to keep all the crap foam and the "mushroom" cover just in case one day down the line Toyota decides to replace these pumps for us Tacoma owners. Because forand whatever reason if your valves go to crap they don't try to pin some "you installed an aftermarket breather so we won't replace it" bullshit.

I drove around in the "blizzard" and tested out the BFG KO2s I got in July. I even engaged 4wd HI.

Here are a few of shots of me mall crawlin' earlier today.

I discovered that proper torque on the carrier support bearing bolts WILL NOT prevent them from coming out on the trail & making all sorts of racket when that UJoint flops around  Then I found out that 4 zip ties WILL let you limp it a few miles to Lowes for new bolts

Oh I also took off the front flex inhibitor :militarypress:

Zip ties. Everyone should probably keep some in the glove box for emergencies. :D

Yeah me too! I got black ones initially, but when I put them beside the truck to get a better idea of how they would look, there just wasn't enough contrast for me. So I ended up buying the grey ones and eventually sold the black ones to a fellow member who put them on his wife's 4-runner. Win-win. :D

Easily 55mph. Toyota actually recommends you get around 10 miles in 4WD on your truck a month. Yea i heard this too and i thought it was outrageous but something about keeping everything lubed up and running smooth. So i will throw it in 4wd going down the highway but try your best to keep it in a straight line or road and not curvy.

What were your thoughts on them? I used mine in the light snow (~5 inches) we got in SC today and they were awful. I miss my Wrangler Duratracs that I had on my 4Runner when I lived in NH, they did so much better
