First time we hit below 0 (32F) this year, anyway I just tried to run my wiper blades and my passenger blade isn't touching down in the middle has anyone else had this issue, I sprayed the windshield with fluid and the blades clean the driver side and half of the passenger, theres a huge puddle of fluid in the middle that the wiper is doing nothing to. I checked the wiper and it's not frozen, it's not making contact for some reason. Think I should make Toyota replace the wiper :goingcrazy:

You mean below 32? There is frozenness stuck to it. Run the defrost on high for a bit and it'll melt and be normal.

If you are certain the rubber wiper blade is not frozen, check the guides to make sure the blade not binding in the tracks.

0 degrees Celsius is 32F lol but yes below 32 Not possible, I ran the the truck for 30 mins with defroster on high the whole ride truck was full operating temp, still did it, also manually inspected wipers and theres no ice on them.

That just happened to me yesterday.... I brought the wiper blade in the house and ran hot water on it.... left it to dry overnite... good to go today..

It was a little bit of ice on the blade joints.... ALSO... spray some silicone on the arm where it swivels when you pull the blade away from the window...

Worked for me....and it was -14 Celsius today...

Usually runing some washer fluid for lower temp weather helps with any de-icing but it's hard to say. Right Now it's -16C and I'm not having any issues but in the morning usually if the blade has ice on it a few presses of the washer fluid and defrost in high will get rid of it pretty quickly.
