Working on a gif making stream night. So far, the tests seem positive.

I need gif training, imgur just isn't cutting it.

Did you use motion tracking? Or was this just moving the text using timing?

 

So after two streams with hammering down the technical details, it looks like I'll be starting a weekly stream of gif making. Yes, you'll actually get to see me work on gif files and hear my James Earl Jones-esq voice (James Earl Jones voice not guaranteed). Imagine watching them from beginning to end, and even listen to why I make certain gifs the way they are. I may even ask for advice, or another perspective on certain aspects of it. You may never know.

This will be on another site, which you do not have to create an account if you do not want to. There may be cursing, but that will be the extent of it. No porn, disturbing links, or what have you will be tolerated (because it goes against the hosting site's TOS) so it'll be marked for mature audiences because of that. But, I'll try to keep with the TOS of TW so you don't have to worry about it not being NSFW.

The date and time are TBD, but I'm thinking it may either be Friday or Sunday evening.

 

I used motion tracking but it wasn't keeping up so I manually adjusted frame by frame after a certain point. It's really cool stuff but hard to use for a newb. I couldn't get handbrake to work with the movie I originally wanted. I think it had something to do with the DRM. So I just pulled from a file that I had on my computer. It's a lot to take in as I have never used photoshop so this is my first intro into editing really.

 

Ah. Gotcha.
Yeah. It is a lot to learn. But once you learn how Adobe uses layers, you're golden. Plus, many of the hot keys transfer over to the other software.
