GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread

Wish I had my tacoma up here. 5 inches and steadily snowing. And it's not ga kind of snow with a bunch of ice but powder.

 

It turned to ice last night it rained after the snow so it's all just ice

 

It looks to me like they exagerated. Maybe alot of people are having toast and eggs with a glass of milk this morning to celebrate?

 

We ended up with 2-3". But it's 17 degrees so everything is just ice

 

We got about 4" up on the mountain. Might break out the tire chains and see if they fit the taco. I'd say with 4 chains on I could probably go just about anywhere

 

Saw a bunch of idiots get stuck, so it started to melt and then it froze so it all turned to ice and idiots were trying to go up hills

Went to Costco for a pizza tho

The sun melted a lot of it off. But it never got over 24 here today, so whatever melted just froze.

 

I'm disappointed in how little snow we received. We woke up and immediately left to drive around and enjoy a donut or two st the local church parking lot.

 

One of the nicest 3rd gens I've seen..

 

Me and my son took a trip down the mountain today, 4hi and 1st gear handled the big hills no problem. Past a 3rd gen that didn't quite make it up last night. He made it pretty far though, the hills on the way to the cabin are insane.

Anyone have suggestions on body shops in the ATL area? Willing to drive a bit for a better price.

Not sure what situation you are in, or what you are looking to have done, but I've used and recommend Nalley Toyota of Roswell collision center. They're at 1000 Sun Valley Dr, Roswell, GA 30076
I've had some body work done after an offroad mishap, and they color matched my bumper and camper shell. Their work has always been top notch for me. Being that its a dealership collision center their prices may be higher than what you want. That (the pricing) I can't honestly comment on, as I have never gone with anyone else. but from the quotes Ive seen from other places, the pricing was good.

Let's go with a compromise of price and quality, it's the girl friends civic, dealer wants $2000 for the work. Gonna shop around a bit unless people have more suggestions

I'm gonna pass on Nalley, good friend of mine was a mechanic at a shop before it was sold to nalley, labor rate went way up and a lot of bad mechanics were brought in
