I'm a partner in a CBD Company. I was a Toyota Mechanic before my current venture though, just didn't like doing maintenance work anymore!

Our CBD is derived from industrial hemp, so kind of? I am potentially working directly with cannabis in illinois soon!

How'd you get in a job like that? I think it would be interesting.

I was lucky enough to land a job at San Diego Hydroponics in CA, and met a customer who I got along with and was offered a job. It has definitely been an interesting path. Learning the medicinal side of the plant and getting to meet patients that I have had the opportunity to help is really satisfying and prompted me to invest money in the growing CBD industry this past year as well.

Try the Guard or Reserve. You may be able to get a full time position which is a fairly stable job and never have to leave AZ. You will end up going through training in Texas and additional training elsewhere but unless you are a linguist it's not terribly long. From day one of basic training (boot camp) until I was trained and ready to work was 8.5 months... but that is a lot longer than average.

Edit: Texas is for Air Force related training... other branches train in other, less awesome, states.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!

The Air Force has training facilities all over the US (some in other countries as well) I know for a FACT, That most all of the Air Force's communication and aircraft electronics training IS at Keesler AFB Biloxi Ms.
The training places vary as to what field you are in.
The Linguist training is done in Monterey Ca. (I think)

My electronics training was 1yr at Biloxi, then later, 10 months more specialized Goodfellow AFB Tx.

...^^^... If you do decide on the military ... try USAF first ... your shelf life is better there and schools are good too.

If I was going to do it again as a "lifer" ... it would be USAF in maybe a (non-gun-ship-type) C-130 ... :)

After driving with some of our military truck drivers and doing it a bit myself I definitely give y'all ALOT more room than I did when I was young and dumb.

I'm just a firefighter. I really wanted to be a rock star but that didn't work out so now I run into burning buildings while people are running out. Here's a picture of my other garage. When my Tacoma gets stuck...my Hummer pulls it out.IMG_0157.jpg

I guess some things never change. That's where my father trained in aircraft electronics on the early 1950s.
