Agree. I did notice that the pump sounds just a tiny bit louder, but that's not a surprise and I can't imagine how this would cause any other symptoms. I read the entire thread and nobody claimed any issues.

I cracked one of mine and ordered another set. I have a spare passenger side in case you know someone who wants a set. ;)

For decent reverse bulbs try the Sylvania 921 Silver Star. I've had them in a few years now. Way whiter and brighter than stock.

Can't take credit for the idea, but I'm a visual learner and thought the step-by-step instructions might help others like me. I also like to copy and keep things like this in a file on the computer so I can remember all of the nit-picky little mods that I've done and how to reverse them if needed. I wanted clean instructions. Glad it's helpful to you.

Starting easy, but got cruise installed today on me '14! $55 project. I created a thread on it and posted all links if anyone ever is looking for a cheaper alternative.

Scheduled to get my Rear Spring replacement done in the morning under the recall, as well as new spark plugs, and a transmission drain and refill. Dealer wants to replace the coolant and thermostat, but they both seem to be fine, so I'm telling them to pass on that. Anyone else heard of a regular thermostat replacement, or just when it needs to be replaced?

got a sweet, super bright, battery powered work light on Amazon. Mounted it with quickfist under my softopper. This thing can light up a room. Good battery life and it's rechargeable. Got it here...

Back in the past I would change it with every coolant flush.

I agree, I'd replace the thermostat since the coolant is getting drained. Cheap insurance to get both done at the same time, your engine will thank you later

I would...IF the coolant was getting drained. BUT, mine was changed about 20K ago when the timing cover gaskets were all replaced under warranty from the dealer where I bought the truck. So, I am gonna tell this dealer, a different one, to pass on the change this time around, and will get it done next time it comes due.
