Since I can't have a drain, mine is flooded all the time unless I squeegee
That sucks...

Tomorrow it's a Vist to the Dermatologist and help my mom out with a small project. Then Tuesday I go for my annual checkup and a Dentist visit. Back to the grind on Wednesday!

I hate when builders do sub-standard work,then it gets covered up,years later $&@"@$&$&. I have a garage with no floor drain, water and salt have taken their toll. Can't wait to get that fixed $$$$$

Yes 30 isn't so bad, but it's me at 56 digging a trench thats bad. If they had fixed it properly I would be long gone by the time it broke.

 

Interesting ... Pretty much standard here, especially new construction.

even tried to tell them the opening goes out to a bank and I would put a 55 gal drum to catch anything. no

 

Or when builders hire "cheap" plumbers who BEND water pipe instead of putting a 90* fitting

Put it in anyway, and make a false cover to put out when the inspector is there?

 

I worked for a quality builder for 15 years.We would put at least 1 drain with stones in the bottom in each stall.Hooking up to a pipe was a no no.
