    I don't shop at the stealership, never have and never will

    My trucks sensors finally kicked the bucket I think. From the searching on TW I've done, I found that a lot of people are buying and using these

    i'd like to know myself.I had a sensor go bad less than a month ago and now my light is on again.$ 246 a dealer.I won't do that again.

    Yep, my light has been on for about a week or so. Check all of my tires and they're all at 33-34. But I have new tires and waiting for the shipment of SCS wheels so I can buy my wheels for them. So Ill be buying 5 of these sensors if I know they'll work fine

    Where did you get your tires mounted and balanced? For me its discount tire and when I had to replace one all they charged me was for the sensor because free rotations and balancing for life of tires!

    I haven't yet, thats why I am trying to make sure that these sensors would work before I order them. What did discount tire charge you for the sensor they replaced for you? I bought my tires from Discount Tires eBay, so Im going to have them mount and balance them for me

    Not much. Step bars, K&N air filter
    are all 4 tpms sensors bad? you may just have one or two sensors needing replacement

    I had Schrader Ez sensors installed in my summer rims. Most tire shops use them, they are fully programable. I had them clone the factory sensors so I can change my tires without reprograming each time.

    After some research I solved my problem and it might work for OP.I just had a sensor replaced a month ago and I checked my tire pressures after I got home and they had set the tires to 40psi and I run 32psi.So I dropped them to 32.then it got pretty cold here and my light came on again.what happened is when dealership set my tire pressures at 40psi they also reset the TPMS at 40 and when I dropped my pressures to 32 and it got cold it turned the light on.What I did was to turn the ignition switch to the ON position and push and hold the reset button until the light flashed 3 times and then went off.

    I bought the Oro-tek's from Amazon. Got all four for 125. Worked great in my SCS Ray10's. Dealership was the only place that could program them however.

    What did the dealer charge you to program them to your truck? I know I just need the serial numbers off the sensors for them to program them, I really don't want to give the dealer any more than I have to so I had planned on letting Discount mount and balance them for me

    I will give this a shot for now!

    No I doubt it, but the average life of the sensors are 8-10 years. My truck was bought in 08, so might as well just change them all now, plus I need one for my spare since the last shop broke one and used my spare one.

    The dealer charged my $300, but that was because I didn't have the old sensors for them to clone as I had already sold the wheels and tires with the OEM sensors. If I would of had the old sensors available to them, it would have been $200.

    and that was for 1 or all?

    The spare also came with a sensor as well. Ill be running a full size spare and rotating that tire in every rotation, so Id like to have one in it as well
