    I wondered the same thing, my guess is he got a gift card for $100 & there isn't much to buy for that amount. Thats what I'd do anyway.

    Nope. No removal of factory covers. They slip on over factory and they are tight!

    I thought I saw someone's write up & they removed the factory covers. I also recall someone ripping their clazzios while trying to install them cause they were so tight.

    Ya I lost one right before Christmas. The whole adventure was documented as it unfolded in another thread that unfortunately and viciously got deleted. Basically fuzzy 2 got out in the middle of the night, found him by freak luck 8 hours later in the pouring rain in a neighbors yard. He passed 12 hours later, probably from exposure. I still don't think I've really recovered. It was like panic, then happiness and relief, then total devastation in like the matter of 24 hours :/. At least he went at home and not out in the elements scared cold and alone. I can take solace in that.

    If they removed factory covers then they did it wrong. I'm sure they could be ripped but not just by installing them "correctly".

    I know for sure I read someone ripped one & it was a clazzio. It's possible the install write up I'm thinking of was a different leather cover. Maybe katskinz?
