Christmas presents put to use. Eventually I will probably have to convert to all steel as the 2x4 forgets all shot up!

I actually have that VooDoo bag. I like it and find its worth it. I mostly keep it as my AR style gun bag. On pouch has AR-15 mags, the other LR-10 mags, and the middle holds the stapler most of the time. The actual inside holds two AR's (even my bigger AR-10) just fine. I have also fit other guns like a M1 Garand and 10/22 in there. The M1 is a tight fit. The other zippered area i keep a cleaning rod in and it can also fit another upper depending on barrel length. It does get heavy with everything in it. I havent used the backpack straps so no comment there. But the shoulder strap works fine. Its definitely large enough you could use it as your sole bag but i dont. I still use another bag for the ear muffs, ammo, ect and use the voodoo bag solely for rifles.

Took the AR out today after giving it a super thorough cleaning last week and it ran flawlessly. I tried to get it to fire when slowly releasing the trigger about 30 times and it did not malfunction once.

All I did was give the bolt and upper a super thorough cleaning, didn't do anything to the lower/trigger. Somehow it being so gummed up was causing the issue.

Glad it didn't malfunction but I don't see how it being dirty would cause a double fire.
It's usually something loose/twisting/out of spec.

I don't either but I don't know enough about it to figure out what went wrong. I try to be very meticulous about that kind of thing so I don't think I assembled it wrong before but it is possible.
