It's sort of hard to say... We've tweaked things along the way and mine has a bunch of little ods and ends that arn't really noticeable at a glance from the exterior. Plus my swing out tire carrier involved some more work than expected. Hell, we are still tweaking it - got some gussets, lights, and fold down table still to add.

Finally received the updated version of The SwitchPro SP8100 (firmware based changes for Bluetooth)... Been waiting for it now since early September. Also started testing/planning my rock light locations last night. Excited to be utilizing magnetic ones that can be re-located as needed - example here: winch light control light to center front skid rocklight in seconds.

The install all together will take me awhile since I'm redoing my entire accessory wiring system. Will keep you all posted...

Can you provide more details about the firmware, where did you get it, how did you install it?

    Thanks,
    Alvin

Firmware is built into SwitcPro units themselves... its not a software that we have the ability to install/update. I had brought to the attention of SwicthPro, an issue with cellphone connectivity that was discussed in another forum I think.

They were able to fix the bug in their firmware but it took them weeks to do so. Long story short, I wanted to be able to use my cell phone to control the switches using bluetooth (example: middle of the night, nature calls, whip out phone in tent, turn on lights, take care of business, get back in tent and turn off lights using phone), but until this firmware update, you were not able to sleep your phone without turning off the switches. In other words if you used your phone to turn on a light, you would have to keep your phone on and lit up to keep that light running. According the Switchpro, that is now fixed. You can sleep your phone and put it back in your pocket while you work or go to the bathroom or whatever and the accessory will now stay turned on.

    Thanks!

No... this my first SP8100... I was waiting for the firmware update before placing an order... The people at SwitchPro were very helpful in keeping me up-to-date though.

No trips planned anytime soon. Just got back from a visit down south near Bisbee. Work's been super busy so finding time to get away is tougher this time of year... Enjoy your holiday weekend tho!

Been slacking on updating this thread... but over the last few weeks I've been able to get the following finished up...

    - Completed the fold down table on the swing out
    - Added a flagpole mount to the swing out (pic below)
    - Installed cargo LEDs and rotating camp floods to rear rack
    - Re-installed reverse lightbar
    - Installed rocklights all around
    - Installed SwitchPro Panel w/ new wiring throughout (pic below)
    - Replaced interior lights with LEDs (white and red) (pic below)
    - Installed center console organizer and panel (pic below)

Pretty stoked with everything overall. Starting with the fold down table (made by Hunter Offroad in Tempe)... I was mainly concerned about having something that would replace my lack of a tailgate and while I can't sit on this thing, its provides plenty of room for my cook stove and other camp kitchen gear. I went ahead and rattle canned the top with bedliner to give it some grip and it fits securely with a twist knob that when unfolded doubles as a location to hang a towel. The flagpole was sort of a random idea after doing a ton of tailgating this year. It's great because it also helps to act as a bumpstop for the swing out itself so no more worrying about my taillight. Decided it could also double as an umbrella mount too. We added an AZ flag gusset for shits. In addition to re-installing my rear ligthbar, I added two rotating camp lights on each corner of the bedrack. I simply loosen each light with a finger knob and can point them in different directions including to the sides of the trucks (not just the back). The truck also now has a ton of LUX Lighting Systems LED lights around it including two underneath the tent illuminating the cargo space in the bed, two as underhood lights and 8 as rocklights. These things are rad because they are magnetic and can be relocated as needed. My hood lights for example have about 10 inches of slack (that fold up into the hood itself) that allows me to move them around underneath the hood as needed. I also gave my front rocklight enough slack to mount inside the winch cavity in the bumper to illuminate the controls, but it can also be pulled out and put underneath the front bumper for additional underlighting. Great well made products for sure! I'm definitely not a fan of wiring, but doing the SwitchPro setup was well worth it even know it took me forever. It helps keep all this organized and clean. Plus, my girlfriend especially enjoys the bluetooth connectivity, petty luxurious if you ask me. After all that I decided to put some attention towards giving the interior a bit of a facelift by adding some center console organizers (long overdue) new LED map and dome lights (also long overdue). For the map lights I decided to do one white and one red (helps draw less insects at night and easier on the eyes after sundown, plus it looks rad). Only complaint here is that the items I decided to mount to the center console lid are heavy enough to keep the lid from staying open on it's own most of the time. No biggie. Last light mod I plan on doing is adding some ditch lights asap. Already ordered some brackets from Relentless, still deciding what lights to go with. Thinking maybe Rigid's new side shooters.

Hopefully I'll get some new pics taken in the coming weeks... stay tuned. For now here of some random ones from IG.

Thanks! Like I said, it was sort of an after thought but it's still got practical use.
