What did you do for that rear lettering? I can't quite tell from the photo...vinyl wrap?

If I didn't have a wife, I probably would have gone with an ACLB. They look proportional even though it still has a big nose.

I agree the AC looks right. For me, it was DC so family could fit. Just wasn't fair to ask my 12 year old son who is pushing 6' to cram in with his 10 year old sister on the Camping trips. Manual trans was number one on the list, I hope when it's time to go back to the AC the options are still there.

Love my AC have 50,000 miles on it since April and no problems. I use it for work so a 6 ft bed was a must and it's a quieter ride than my dcor. Just me and my wife. She wanted the 4 doors for friends and family to take them off road with us. Every time she rides in my truck she says it's to small in the cab I tell her to just look forward everything looks the same.

Are ACs quieter inside than DCSBs? Did I read someone say that?

Anyone done a 2-person road trip in an AC? Is there enough room? I'm looking to replace my RC 1st gen which is essentially un-roadtrippable even when I roll solo.

A coworker and I spent a week traveling around in mine. I'm 6' 230lbs and he's 6'2" 260lbs. No complaints from either of us.

I figured an AC long bed would work for me, so I bought one.

Had to have the 6' bed for dirt bikes, and sure as hell wasn't gunna get the hideous DCLB.
The access cab looks so much better, no argument there.
Got the trd sport for the 6 speed, and I prefer the color matched fenders. Upgraded suspension with kings, so id say its better than the off-road for me, just need the diff locker.

I have, no issues at all. Obviously if you stow all your gear inside the cab then it gets tight, but if you use the bed for storage and only have the usual road trippin' necessities inside, it's fine. I've also slept - a lot - in the cab, the seats recline far enough to make roadside napping quite comfortable.

    Hardcore off road floor mats!
Both my girlfriends & I at Icicle Creek Road in Leavenworth, Washington. The road is closed every winter (dead ends in 10 miles?) To cut costs of plowing it and a NCE snowshoe hike.

I went with the access cab because:
    - 6' bed,
    - Utility package and the lower price for a manual 4x4 (msrp aprox $24k)

Depends on how many suitcases your wife/girlfriend needs for her shoes.
