To this day I still think the proportions of the AC look better than the DC. The only time a DCLB looks "right" to me is when it's got a good lift on it.

If I didn't have family plans, I'd have replaced my '13 AC with another AC. Of course, the sunroof option trumped the cab choice, but that being said, I always thought the AC "looked" right.

 

That camper looks amazing. Want that now.

Is it sturdy? The frame looks a little light.

 

Needed a vehicle to haul my GSD and remodeling our house so got tired of loading bricks and wood in a Camry. Like the 6ft bed and no kids yet so this one has done nicely for the past year.

 

What lift and tire set up is that? Looks great!

 

correct. i dipped it after i did my grille, which has been since replaced with the BAMF insert (top notch, BTW).

i'm thinking on getting it vinyl wrapped though, also a portion of the hood to cut back on glare.

 

Thanks! I really appreciate that. The previous owner (I got the truck with under 10k miles) had installed a 2/1 level kit. I plan to do a proper suspension setup in the very near future. In the meantime, I added 285 KO2s. After yesterday I can confirm, it goes off-road.

 

That's what I am wondering... I have 265/75/16s and I'm wondering if I could go larger without rubbing and without a lift. Maybe 285/70/16?

 

I'm pretty certain you'll rub without any sort of lift. That's from my experience. I've seen others saying it works out on this site. So who knows?

Cant see you not rubbing with a bigger tire than 265/75/16. Thats what I run, and I even get some rub on bumps while turning at a decent speed, and I have a 2.5in lift. I recommend getting some lift or getting a true 32in tire like the fun countrys I have.

 

Yeah it's solid and holds up well

 

I was catching rub with 1.5" on 265/70r17s. Adjusted the coils to a little over 2". Thinking 275s now.

 

What flares you have on that? Looks good man. Are those factory?

 

Sorry, didn't notice your post until now. It's a Leer XR with sliders on sides and removable front slider.

 

Plenty of room for two adults in the AC.... Noisy as shit however!

 

Love the topper. My buddy has one on his '85 K5 Blazer. Phenomenal product!

Well I have a double cab because of my stupid kid(kidding on the stupid part), but I wish I had an access cab. Much better looking and less expensive!

 

265/75 16 is documented as biggest tire that can fit stock suspension.

 

My trucks quieter then my house so thats fine with me! Also 265 75 16 does indeed fit stock no problems umm never heard of anyone stuffing anything larger under the tacoma on stock.
