True, but worth it in my opinion I think.

Just have to find a good one that will do road and offroad.

    Still researching the garmin unit...

This GAIA GPS app looks very detailed! And the GPS will tell you how accurate is was, i was getting +/- 63ft. Wifi maybe helping a bit though.

Let me know on the Garmin.

I think I may actually look at investing in a cellular ipad possibly or something.

Would be nice to have a multiuse device.

Wait... did you buy all those different arms and then only use one?

    Other than that, looks awesome!

    @KelticAngel

That is what I am thinking, just not sure if I want to pay for the data for it hahaha.

Can't, I am on a family plan with my mother as it is super cheap, so can't use that much data.

Hey Steven, today I figured out how I'm going to have to ghetto mount my RTMR and I cannot use my TacomaPros mounting plate with cutout for circuit breaker. The mounting plate looks a little rough from all of my tinkering and manipulation, but it can be refinished if you want to use it for your RTMR.

First time I have been on this weekend.

Is it the one that has the Circuit breaker cutout as well or just the mount for the RTMR?

Gaia Pro for GPS. Download maps when you're on Wifi, then tether only when needed for Pornhub or whatever while you're on the trail. Emergency stuff.

So all the wiring I did for my friends system.... ended up having to put the stock head unit back in as the factory harness would not connect to the new one for some stupid ass reason...

Literally a waste of a day almost.

May have to do that, I have a really good friend that works at Verizon and my phone is in dire need of a upgrade when I can do that at the end of the month, so going to see about either going to my own plan or stay on the family plan and then just get a plan that has the iPad on it. Right now I only pay $55 a month for my plan... and I get a $50 cell phone stipend for work each month... so may be able to get an iPad with Data for like $30 a month of so which I would not mind. Would come in handy on trips for GPS, checking in, finding local spots, etc.

It's got a cutout for the breaker. It's not a laser cut like the RTMR cutout is... it's like they forgot to cut out the breaker mount on the table and then used a cutoff wheel before mailing it to me. Does the job though, and looks better than my current solution! I used some flat bar to make some simple mounting brackets to reinstall my RTMR and beaker next to my supercharger coolant reservoir.

Yea, if it has the cutout for the circuit breaker then I will definitely use it!

Send me a picture of it if you can so I can make sure it is the right one, but more than likely I will use it. Planning on order a bunch of stuff pretty soon for a couple different projects.
