    grinding was an option i thought about, but to have to grind off the powder coat and part if the hitch and shackle point to make this work didn't sound good. in doing so might cause it to be weaker and break when i need it. I've pm mobtown see if they can help me.

    Probably because it's Sunday evening? There aren't many vendors here (with the exception of mobtown who I actually think is staffed with robots) that'll answer on a Sunday evening. Or anytime during the weekend for that matter. On the weekend posting a thread is the quickest resolution to an issue - even during a work week.

    The OP wasn't slamming mobtown. At least I didn't see it that way. The product just didn't fit like it was supposed to. And guess what. Posting the thread fixed his issue. Or least will. :)

    I had a group buy issue yesterday and Mobtown responded within the hour. It ended up not being his problem but he's going to check on his side and see why it happened. (My bank flagged the purchase as fraud.)

    I know he wasn't slamming them BUT even if it is the weekend the vendor should have been given the opportunity to reply to a PM or email before a forum post was made.

    No bot here.

    Evenings and weekends are the only time I have to get any paperwork and computer stuff caught up. Once kid goes to sleep I'm plugging away until 12-1am often.

    Just an observation... the mounting holes could possibly be enlarged and use of a washer be applied? This can give you more wiggle room. I don't know the design exactly... but I've had to do this in several occasions on impromptu projects where an adjustment was needed.
    * just a thought.

    Back when I was in school, I was able to convert ASCII to binary manually. Still could with a quick refresher, but it'd be a pain.

    Still do, used in MAC Addresses.

    The challenge today is converting IPv6 to Binary. IPv4 to binary is easy but IPv6 is hexidecimal.

    Damn, what am I doing, I go to TW to get away from work not talk about it...

    hex<>binary translation is pretty simple since each hex digit is a nibble.
