 Morning (midwest to eastcoast anyway).

1°F at 3:40AM; positive and no wind--I'll take it. Weather guesser chart thingy still shows 20°F by 9AM. They said the same thing yesterday. Heck, sun ain't up 'til past 10AM. Startin' to think these folks are baitin' me for fun.

Been doing the nightshifter "rollover nap another hour dance" since midnight. Think I'll catch some news and have a cup of coffee. Ya'll stay warm and safe out there.

18* here also, feels pretty mild, @MQQSE if they aren't yanking your chain and there is no wind it feels pretty damn fine at 20.

Good luck with the foot, hope it isn't same problem as mine which was degenerative arthritis. Yes, the aging process can be brutal. Hopefully it is just something they tell you to stay off it for awhile! Snow starting at noon. Up to 33 tomorrow and ice and snow. Then 20's on Wednesday and more snow on the ice we have and are getting. Then back to -11. Would rather have it stay cold and not snow and\or ice out.

Was able to use the metal flatblade shovel and get the ice off the steps last night. Just in time for more ice and hurt like hell this morning. Sounds like lots of people have the cold today hope it warms up soon for everyone. And stays that way. Have a great Monday.

MTV Classics. I hit the record button on the satellite dvr machine (Direct TV) so I have them to watch later. I recorded the entire series so I can watch them when nothing else is on the 900 channels I don't watch.

 Morning Mike. It is amazing how good 20°F feels after a spell of subzero and single digits. Practically "leave the jacket in the truck" warm. Watch out for that ice ... you know what I'm talking about. ;)

@Jim Good luck with the Doc. My persistent foot pain turned out to be bone spurs in my heel trying to tighten up an injured achilles tendon I never knew I injured; suspect it happened same time I screwed up my knee on that side, 17 yrs ago. Some orthopedic lifts and insoles and it hasn't bothered me since I started using them a year and half ago. Oh, those and wearing Crocs inside ... basically never go barefooted.
Hopefully yours can be corrected as easily. :fingerscrossed:

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Wow. I watch a couple of football games, and then spend the evening with the better half, only to be 327 posts behind... Sigh...

Nah looks like a fresh cutting to start a clone. Not sure why anyone would leave it in a car in cold weather. Which reminds me I need to take a cutting of my bay plant for a lady friend at work. Knowing her I might as well root it too. Guess your going to being seeing a lot more of that soon, but a different plant.

Whew thank goodness Kevin I was about ready to throw mine in the truck and drive to Texas to take it to you. Although the birds have been using the bottom brace to sit on and poop and eat bird seed that they bring out of the feeder. It sits under the roof overhang and must be out of the wind just enough that they have a second home there. Would hate to disturb their hangout. But not like I sit in it this time of year on the deck.
