Retros got put on the wish list, instead of the "Saving for" list, again.... :angrygirl:

Had to get a new cellular telephone. :boom:

Mobile companies are literally holding us hostage with purchasing options. This is fucking shit. I mean, I apologized to the people working there afterwards, because I know they are just doing their jobs and don't make any decisions...buttfuckingshit, leasing cell phones is a thing now? WTF?

Why do I always see the DC rear storage bins being sold?

I concur. The AT&T Next plan is BS!
Yes, you pay a monthly payment for the device, but upgrade takes forever now

It's business, doing whatever it takes to maintain a revenue stream and try as much as possible to lock you in one way or another. Best bet is to buy a year or two old used phone outright as opposed to new or via a payment/lease plan. Getting to be like car buying, let the first year depreciation go to someone else.

I mean, I get that, but the plans are already stupid expensive, so just adding to that seems and feels so stupid.

We have two lines, and our bill is $120 a month.

I'm about to go back to a land line. lol.

I could (probably) easily take a position in this company that offers cell service or reimbursement.

But, I'd have to move to a location of their choosing, and looking at what is available right now....I think I'll just pay my own cell bill....lol.
