    Hello TacomaWorld

    Picked up a 2008 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 pickemup truck a few months back. Hunting season is over and need to upgrade a few things. Been “lurking” around here for a bit and cannot believe some of the trucks on this website. This website seems to spawn creativity and a lot of spending!

    This is my first Toyota and I very impressed so far. I come from european cars and I might have to move to Lexus in the future. The resale value has always intrigued me with Toyota’s, but this truck has over 100,000 miles and I cannot believe how “solid” it still drives. Bought the truck as a “beater”, but now I find myself driving it more and more each day! My primary car seeing more and more garage time.

    I am from New Braunfels TX, would love to see some of these trucks in person. When is the next Tacoma meet up?

    Is there a meet in San Antonio? ATX a bit of a drive. The traffic is nasty head up your way. 35 needs another 4 lanes from SATX to ATX.

    Not sure about what there is in SA, but most of the stuff we do in Austin is on the weekends (so traffic is less insane) or at an off-road park (Hidden Falls, Wolf Caves) in the area.
