I wish mine was that low to start, haha I did save a couple hundred $ when I moved to cochrane from Calgary but still paying over $3200/year, but it should be dropping significantly next year for me.

    I may be interested!

What's the total cost? I also have a US shipping address that I can have it shipped to to save money. Then I could go grab them and we can meet somewhere.

If he is charging $55 for shipping a tiny box across the border, he is using the wrong carrier. shouldn't be more than $15 USPS or even fedex.

yeah I'd rather drive to point roberts if i were to buy by myself. but if it's split shipping then it'd be worth being shipped up here.

myself and a friend would be interested in splitting shipping..

Is anyone able to see congestion on their NAV system? Friend with a few year old Highlander says he can as long as he subscribes to XM but l am not seeing any traffic on mine.

've been looking for a remote start system that could be plug and play for the new tacomas PTS that you could basically unplug for when you need to go in for work at the dealers.. I found one available on ebay. It's using the dball2 system plus a T-harness. All you have todo is splice into 2 wires in the steering column. He also has them all programmed to use smart start aswell.

He is very knowledgeable with these installs as its what he does for a profession. Provides contact info for direct help aswell.

I will post updates when I receive it and install it. I'm probably installing with the smart start system asw ell.

    Ebay link:

Mention "Midvale496" in the notes if you purchase.

Hey thanks for the link , i have not bought one yet , and just read on another link about this same system that you are talking about , , please keep me posted on your purchase and install , definitely an easier install than the other one , only having to tap 2 wires instead of 8 !!
    Keep me posted

I just checked again this morning with my dealer, still the same old update, nothing new.

Now I notice that you have a 2016. My dealer keeps telling me the only update they see in the system is for 2016, nothing for the 2017 yet. This means that the update your dealer is telling you is available, is the first one that came out last summer and not the most recent that came out in November in the US. Or my dealer is grossly incompetent. Jury is still out on this one.

    Canadian Friends,
I was out cruising the logging road here on Vancouver Island and managed to personalize my Taco with some good old canadian pin striping. Anyone know of a Product here in Canada to help reduce the look on the black fenders?IMG_3423.jpg
