TRD OR DCSB Stock height suspension replacements

Any suggestions for stock height rear shock replacements? Blew my rear shocks out this weekend.

 

Some bilstein 5100s or 4600s would do the trick.

 

Thank you for the response. Would the 5160 shock be a step up? I am thinking I blew the stock shocks out as they were way over heated.

 

Deets on this? Did you drive down a ten mile stretch of straight washboard dirt road?

 

Death Valley to the racetrack. 27 miles each way. My buddies in a jeep have no fillings left in their teeth.

If you're going to drive like that then stock replacements aren't going to help you.

If you want to speed run through bouncy stuff you'll want bigger shocks with resis, like King/ADS/Fox.

 

5100s and 4600s are basically the same except that the 5100s are height adjustable, right?

Yes I was thinking the same thing about the reservoirs. Anyone have experience with the 5160?
