I assume the husband has looked at all of that - including the dimmer switches themselves. The dimmer switches also have to be compatible with LED's.

Some dimmable LED's just don't work with certain dimmers even if they're all compatible. They work - but some flicker. So - once they flicker, he takes them back to the store and he buys something else (different brand, different style, or whatever). Eventually, he'll find the magic combination.... He's done a couple different rooms in the house already. LOL

I'm guessing the LED dimming technology just hasn't been completely fine tuned yet.

 

Sometimes progress is slow. Sounds like it's gonna b nice when he's done.

You have to see it in the theater with the full fan processional. Look up a website where they tell you what to bring, or check with the theater.

Don't go alone. Make sure there's at least one girl in your group.

I'm almost afraid to ask why...

 

It has a partial gay following - at the time I was afraid I'd be considered gay (it was the 80s) - but moreso because I'd gotten lucky every time I took a girl to see Rocky Horror back in the 1980s.

Don't know why it worked...but I always thought it was because we'd had so much fun. The movie is CAMPY, the music is decent, but the audience participation and hardcore fan play-along are an absolute blast. Any time your date has a great time and laughs their head off bodes well.

 

Ok. So not something to watch alone lol

 

One of the theatres near me does play older movies. Saw Robin Hood: Men In Tights not long ago.

 

The Alamo Draft House chain of theaters does showings of old movies in "quote-a-longs." Normally their rule is "shut up or we ban you for life" but during the quote-a-long shows it's all about talking back to the screen. It's a big party. Caddyshack was awesome - 50 people all doing their best Rodney Dangerfield or Ted Knight impressions.

Saw Blue Brothers. Can quote about 80% of it.

Still haven't made Monty Python and the Holy Grail because it's one showing at a time and it sells out FAST.

Yahoooooo! Can't wait for Friday! One of my gal pals and I have ring time set up for an intense workout. She's a former MMA fighter, currently a State Trooper, and we're going to spar several rounds.

I'm certain she will teach me plenty! I have basic martial arts and self defense training, but this is going to be a whole different level. I have to say she's one tough chick, fast and strong.
