Sounds like it's time to move to a free state.

The wife bought a Ruger 357 revolver that also shoots 38 special. Don't know the number but it is hammerless, about $600 and small enough to be a pocket carry. Goes bang. I don't know much about guns.

LOL, yes. A couple weeks back that's exactly how the conversation started then it turned into politics and then all the moderators came on and started Erasing responses and people. I say this, because somehow I got caught right in the middle of it when I was initially trying to avoid it

Bought it local on a farm auction. Already ran 10 rounds through it. You know anything about what people use for a 25rd mag?

    Many & varied

I recently helped with an estate sale. For my efforts I was paid $200 and given two old tackle boxes. They were heavy and I just tossed them in my barn. Opened them up a few days ago and found 2,000 rounds of .22 LR. I guess it's time to go buy a .22 for my kid.

Anyone want some 30 cal blanks? I got a couple old boxes of them but no rifle that takes them.

I dont know much of anything about it except the bolt can give more severe "garand thumb". Ive only watched a few youtube videos and seen one for sale locally

I'm 32. We always bought the Winchester 555 because my dad insisted on it. :notsure:
There may have been stuff that was cheaper, but that was what he always wanted.

$5 a brick bulk ammo would have been mid 80's. By the mid 90's it was over $10. Up until 2008 it was under $20 for most of the bulk stuff. In 2013 I saw $125 for a Federal 550 bulk pack lol. Hope no one paid that.

Sounds about right. I was learning how to shoot in the early 90's. But you're right, I was paying around $20 for a brick at the local Wally World right up until December of 2012.

I remember when they hit that $100-$125 range I had 8 boxes of the cheap Remington golden bullet 525 round packs I thought about selling some but knew I couldn't replace it. When I was back in Oregon 6 years ago a store up there had the same stuf on sale for Black Friday for $13.99 a box. I bought 10 of them.
