    Unless you're going full vet and getting your doctorate, you will hate it. My ex is a vet tech with an equine specialty, she wished she stayed with small animals or got her PHD.

    I wanted to be a vet, did the classes and everything. Can't handle the smell :/

    Davis is like the best school I think. But be prepared to pay as much as you would to become an actual doctor but start at like $60k a year.
